Who's Yew? is the story of Michael, a ten-year-old boy living in Mistleton, a small village in southern England. He and his younger sister Willow constantly play adventure games, and Michael longs to leave sleepy Mistleton and live in the adventure-filled city of London. Instead of Michael finding adventure elsewhere, however, adventure finds Michael right in his own back garden.
The shed at the bottom of Michael's garden, he finds, is occupied by mystical creatures. And those creatures, he further finds, are looking for him. They need his help, they say, to find a magical key. Michael readily agrees to help, and they and Michael set out to find the key.
But befriending these mystical creatures, it turns out, might not be such a good idea. They squabble, they hedge, they deceive, and they kidnap family members. As the adventure heightens, Michael discovers, so does the danger--to Michael, to Willow, to Mistleton itself.
Michael must find the key and save his village, with magic, with legend, with a bit of mistletoe.
